Not what I was hoping for.

Hello! I am part of the #florencepanel and I get sent free samples in exchange for an honest review. I am new to skin care but I had dry skin- and I always end my routine with moisturizer. I was really excited to try this product, but in all honesty, I was disappointed with this product! In the desc...ription, the product instructs you to wet your face before you put on the moisturizer. This personally is a problem for me, as the serum I use is supposed to be used on non-wet skin, meaning that I have to choose between this moisturizer or my favorite serum; which, is not something I wish I had to do. When I applied the moisturizer, I was excited because it claims to be really hydrating… but I found it to be quite the opposite. Directly after applying, my skin felt super dry and felt flaky, which was really disappointing. I hated the way it made my skin feel. After around 15 minutes though, my skin felt much more plump and hydrated. I have used this product a total of 3 days, meaning I used it 6 routines. The dryness before hydration has happened to me each time I've used it, which has been unpleasant for me. The product itself is very watery and feels more like a slip than a lotion. It feels nice to pump onto your hands and the packaging is pretry. That said, the product itself does not work for my skin. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it did eventually feels better, but only after I waited. The initial dry feeling could just be because of my skin type, so it might work better for someone with balanced or oily skin, but I do not know that for sure. I do not plan on buying this again, and if I'm being honest, I would not recommend this product to anyone else, especially those who have dry skin like me.
