There has never, ever been a hair tie that compares to these if you have thick, long hair! I am a woman who has been 29+ for 2 decades. You do the math. And I have 1) only ever reviewed one other thing 2) always had long, very thick hair, 3) owned almost every hairtie ever made—including the old ones with plastic balls you hooked together and 4) never, ever, not once, not a single time in my life, not adjusted my ponytail once an hour+ let alone forgotten I had a ponytail in for the whole day. Until my first day using these. What a revelation!! I will never go back to any other hair tie. I will sew these kind if Scunci ever stops making them. I will never go back to the adjusting, pulling, aching, pinching, painful ponytails. Oh my gosh. There is no other hair tie like these. None. No pulled out or broken hairs when I take it out either. Not one. I cannot believe how great these are and how bad all prior ponytails were, and I am the person living in this new heaven on earth Scunci has created. Wow. Thank you Scunci!!!!!!

You long haired girlies and gals out there know that hair gets HEAVY. Good luck keeping that hair pulled up gravity is not on your side even with a painful amount of bobby pins. I have hair that is ~2.5-2.75 FEET long. I love it, but keeping it up and out of my face when needed is a HASSLE. A high ponytail, especially for exercise- always fallen out within an hour. I thought I would give these a try since they advertised some extra grip & at best hopped for a little longer-lasting performance than normal ponytail holders - OMG THEY DID NOT COME TO PLAY. My hair stayed up the WHOLE DAY and then I SLEPT IN IT and it was STILL IN A (albeit messy- BUT HELD UP-) HIGH PONYTAIL THE NEXT MORNING- AND it wasn't a knotted mess !! I need these in all styles and colors- very much hoping this becomes a main product line or something !!! Photo is of my hair in a half-ponytail, for length and thickness reference. I picked these up the other day and already love them! They are very stretchy and holds my hair secure without being too tight.
