Sugar Granules have gotten Gradually More Coare

I'll be brief regarding the scent. Vanilla is a good basic vanilla that doesn't compete or overpower whatever personal fragrance you choose to layer after the shower. I like it for that reason. It's not a deep, resinous or gourmand vanilla; more like the vanilla flower itself. But it's still decided...ly vanilla and I enjoy it for the neutral scent that it is. Now, the texture. Herein lies my concern. I've been buying Tree Hut Sugar Scrubs more years than I can count. I've always loved them for their finely-milled sugar granules that get the job done so effortlessly while still being fairly gentle and allowing the product to go a long way. I still have some older tubs from last year and prior, and the sugar is much finer than my newer tubs. They feel more luxurious and high-quality. I've noticed the last several tubs I've purchased don't have the same size sugar granules I've grown accustomed to. The sugar is now much more coarse, and therefore noticeably more rough on the skin and the product overall feels more cheap. Tree Hut scrubs have always been a bang for the buck due to the quality over cost ratio. I feel they've lowered their standard of quality, so instead of feeling like the best you can get for your money, these scrubs are starting to feel more run-of-the-mill, drug store-like. I hope they go back to the same lovely finely-milled sugar they have used for years, but I doubt it. This very coarse texture isn't great; not only aesthetically, but also for the skin. I'm running through tubs faster than before, and that is because I'm needing more to get the same level of exfoliation while still not being fully satisfied with the results. I hope this isn't the new norm for Tree Hut. If so, that will be the end of an era and I will have to find a new go-to sugar scrub. Why do companies always have to go and mess with a good thing?
