I've noticed that great products tend to come in smaller packages. I love Aveda, and they are only 8.5 oz for $17+! I lived in Japan for a few years and they have amazing products. So I wanted to give a couple of these new products a go, especially since I have long (waist length) textured hair. Abo...

Damages hair

I really wanted to like this and am continuing to be on the look out for a more natural shampoo/conditioner. After the first use, I noticed some frizzing happening and then I looked closer and noticed that my hair had breakage all the way to the roots. Extremely disappointing and a bit horrifying. I...

Most Difficult Packaging Ever

I originally purchased the giant refill a while ago because I found one in the clearance section of my local ulta, and I loved it! It had great slip and was really moisturizing without being too thick. It does have a strong perfume, but I enjoyed it. After finishing the refill I decided to buy the bottle so that I could have an easier time pumping out the product:) I'm convinced this bottle was never meant to be opened. I have followed the instructions for opening and tried the trick of reopening and sealing the base, but to no avail. The pump just refuses to open! Never in my life have I struggled this hard to open a product. I even enlisted the help of several family members who have all failed to open it. I'm so disappointed because the conditioner itself is great, but I'm now afraid of purchasing another one only to have the same problem:( If you're willing to pour the conditioner straight from the bag, or you already have an empty container to fill, give it a try! Otherwise, save your energy and effort.

I'm so sad that i spent my reward money on this product. I get a balayage done every couple of months and have thin, wavy/textured hair. I also style my hair almost every day and use a lot of produce like leave in hair protector, hair oil, and tons of hair spray. I have the NatureLab shampoo/scalp scrub and I SWEAR by it. It leaves my scalp clean and gets all the product out without leaving my hair dry. So, I thought I'd give the conditioner a go since I do love all things "volume". Pro (for me):It has a lovely floral scent that is not too overpowering. I also noticed a little bit more volume after I blow dried with a round brush. Con: the consistency. It is not a thick conditioner at all. I end up having to do 4 pumps just to get a good creamy lather for my hair. Even then, it does not leave my hair super soft. I wash my hair 3 times a week and have been using this conditioner for a little over 2 weeks and am already done with half the bottle. smh. Alternative conditioners i've used that are higher quality and worth the $$ are Kerastase and Ouai. I always end up going back to Kerastase.

This has been the worst product I have ever used for my hair, it looked like I didn't shower when I used it. I was actually second guessing myself if I had washed my hair in the shower after looking in the mirror at work. I tried this product repeatedly, but had the same results each time. It seems a lot of people like this product, but it did not work at all for myself. I like that it is cruelty free though.
