worked well for me
so first impressions, I thought the bottle was very cute. The cap did come broken, which is fine, but just something to know. so, at first, I thought this was for your face because it said serum, I'm used to seeing serums for face. so thankfully, I read the instructions and realized it was for your ...

Should have read the Ingredients
I really should have read the ingredients! The very first ingredient is Alcohol Denat…otherwise known as denatured alcohol. It must have quite A LOT of denatured alcohol as i have had quite a few products with this ingredient and its never smelled this STRONG of rubbing alcohol, never felt (cold) li...

Free was too expensive
I am a HUGE fan of the Sebastian Dark Oil, so I jumped at the chance to try this. Believe me when I tell you that I received this free and even that was too much. I have pretty normal hair usually, color treated. I wear it long, so I enjoy oils and leave-ins to protect it and keep my ends healthy. The Penetrait "repair" stripped my color, made my hair like straw, and even made my hands dry after I applied it. This has no business being on the market as a repair treatment. I am truly skeptical of the good reviews; I didn't even use my own money for this and can't give it more than 1 star.
Awful product!
I received this for free as part of an Ulta promotion, and I was really excited to try it. Boy, was I disappointed! This dried my hair out and made it feel like straw. Even after washing it out, I could still see and feel the damage it caused. Terrible! I can't believe this product has ANY good reviews! I think all the good reviews are fake!
Wouldn't put this on my hair
I made the mistake of putting it on my hair before looking at the ingredients. When i felt how dry my hair was i looked and alcohol is the first ingredient. Sadly such a waste
Pure alcohol dries hair immediately
Dont reccomend this product, its so crazy how sebastian brand claims this helps hair when it actually dries it out.
It Smells Exactly Like A Bottle Of Hand Sanitizer
Just the the title says; hand sanitizer. This cannot be good for anyone's hair. I thought it was only my bottle. Nope. It seems to be others, too. This was actually a gift with purchase, but I still want to return it. It really is that bad, and you can't give it away, so into the garbage it will go. I suppose I could use it as hand sanitizer, but it would be incredibly drying. I understand why Ulta was giving it away.
