1. Remove the test strip from the sealed pouch. Note: The test strip must be at room temperature (59°F to 86°F) and urine should not be manipulated (don't chill or freeze it!). 2. Dip the end of the strip into the urine with the arrow pointing down and hold for five seconds. Do not allow the urine level to exceed the MAX marker line, otherwise the test may not perform correctly. 3. Remove the strip from the urine and lay it flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface, such as the mouth of the urine container. 4. Set your timer for five minutes, then read the results. Do not read results after five minutes, as they may no longer be accurate.
