What a pleasant surprise!

I have 3b/3c natural hair. I very rarely use heat...maybe straighten my hair once or twice a year. Had an even and wanted my hair to have a wavy look instead of my normal twist out. A fellow naturalista recommended this and the rest is history. I've been natural for 9 years and this is likely be bes...

Letdown.

I was so excited for this product as I have been in the market for something similar for a long while, but I'm really disappointed with it. My biggest complaint is that the brush is too soft; the bristles are too short. I have long hair, but it's thin/fine and I still had to use a regular paddle bru...

So, no I've never gotten my hair straight enough for a silk press. It gets your roots, but not how you would need for a silkpress. Now...this thing stretches the hair wonderfully for braids, or any other style that you may want stretched hair for. It's easy to use, and does the job quickly. Love this thing! FYI from the POV of 4A, 4B hair

It makes things LESS time consuming when drying, But, it doesn't get the roots which is one thing, it doesn't get it bone straight like a regular dryer and round brush, and the cool setting doesn't really work, it's blows warm air

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I get the negative comments but…

I am at that awkward stage of a grown out bob. I have asian hair, thick but fairly naturally straightish. This is my first revlon dryer brush, I've tried other brands that are hot garbage. With that said, this works. However, I do have to quickly brush my hair with a wide tooth comb before, I found that if I don't, it'll pull put my hair and it's bulky. As far as the other comment saying it made their hair frizzy, I'm used to washing my hair during the afternoon to airdry and not comb my hair at all, so this is a step up for me.

Working with this tool is essentially the embodiment of pulling teeth. This tool is goid for nothing but yanking your hair out. To all my natural hair boys and girls save your money because this aint it
