Manna from heaven
First off, let me give you some background on my skin. I'm 33 and have been dealing with acne for TWENTY YEARS. It started in my early teens, got progressively worse through middle and high school, cleared up a bit in college (thanks, birth control!), but then stayed at a pretty solid 'meh' level th...

Such a shame my skin hated it!
I have combo very blemish/congestion prone peaches and cream skin that is normally clear unless a product doesn't agree with me. This is the fussiest exhausting skin type because you always have to find the meticulous balance of hydrating gentle products yet still having your pores cleaned well enou...

I love this cleanser
Horrible smell

After reading the last few reviews I decided to say something as well. I have enjoyed all the products at Osea for at least 2 years now. I just received my Ocean Cleanser and I'm very disappointed with the smell. I understand it has seaweed in it but Osea needs to go back to the old formula! I used to feel like I was in the spa while washing my face with the cleanser but not now, I can't wait to get it off my face. I'm not sure if I'll ask to return it but I think I need to find another brand for my cleanser. PLEASE Osea do not change your moisturizers! Otherwise, I think a lot of customers including myself will leave.
Very disappointed with the new formula

I absolutely loved this cleanser for the past few years. After receiving my most recent subscription order, I reached out to customer service because my new ocean cleanser had a terrible smell as if it had gone rancid, and it also had gritty sediment in each pump. Thinking it had gone bad, they agreed to send me a new one in exchange for me returning mine so they could do test on it to see what had gone wrong. I was surprised to find that the new bottle they sent me was exactly the same. Gritty sediment and terrible smell. Confused, I went to the comment section and found that they changed their formula end of last year, and many others were commenting the very same about the new formula. The troubling part is that customer service assured me this product should not have any gritty sediment, so why is it part of the new formula? Disappointed Ill have to look for a new cleanser after loving this one for years, and Im considering looking into a new skin care brand for face care because I feel these products are not as good as they used to be especially for the price point. While pricey, their body care is still great. I know they often reply too bad reviews stating that these products are natural and thus might have changes in color and smell, but this still doesnt explain why customer service told me there should be no sediment in this product and that seems to be one of his new traits. Not sure if they were being dishonest or some thing else is going on, but it makes me uncomfortable.
Very disappointed with new formula

I used to absolutely love this cleanser, but after my most recent subscription order, The smell was so disgusting as if it had gone rancid, and there was a gritty sediment throughout the whole bottle. Concerned and not at all used to this from this product, I reached out to customer service who arranged to send me another one and for me to send the problematic product back to them so they could test what had gone wrong. To my surprise, the new bottle they sent me was the exact same gritty and disgusting smell. Confused, I went to the review section and found that other people were commenting the same thing. I didnt realize they had changed the formula the end of last year, so apparently mine had not gone bad, the new formula is just bad. The strange part is that customer service assured me this product should not have any sediment in it, so why is that the new normal? So sad to have to find another cleanser, this one was my favorite for years. Honestly thinking about looking into different skin care brands, as I find Im having more and more problems with these products. The body care is still wonderful, but the face care not as much these days. And especially not for the high price. I know their consistent comment on bad reviews is that these are natural formulas so things like smell and color can vary, but again, I was assured there should be no sediment in this product, and yet there is. Not sure if they were being dishonest or where the problem is occurring, but it feels odd.
