the right combo for my dry skin!

YAY! I have finally found the right combo for my skin! I am 51. I have tried so many other products. My skin is dry, aging and in our cold northern Canada winters my skin always feels itchy and so very dry and dull. I have tried this moisturizer before but by itself it just wasn't enough. So I start...

Gets bad over time

I started using this moisturizer about three weeks ago because I really liked the HA serum. As I continued to use this product I slowly noticed dry patches, where I thought it was another cram I was using so I stopped using that. Then my face became, dry, tight, red, puffy, and severely swollen arou...

Part two of my review

I wrote the review about how it made me greasy, caused milia and had not good ingredients but i forgot to mention something. don't trust other reviews they probably were written the moment they got it and was like oh yeah it gives a nice glow to the skin then probably got the effects 2 to 3 weeks later. please trust me. also you should be spending a tiny bit more money on skincare because brands that priced their products that cheap. You already know it's not gonna have good ingredients…

DO NOT BUY THIS MOISTURIZER NO MATTER WHAT YOUR SKIN TYPE!!

So I bought this my friend told me it was good. I was seeing everywhere and I was like OK. This is gonna be my favorite moisturizer. I WAS WRONG. I have dry skin and somehow it made me greasy… but at the same time it wasn't moisturizing. Milia is something that appears on the face when you put heavy products. IT WAS EVERYWHERE. I am still struggling to get rid of my milia. Because it isn't something that goes away fast. Tiny little white bumps everywhere. If you don't know, there is something called humectants like hyaluronic acid which is the only genuinely good ingredient in this anyway. And then there's emollients. those make sure that the humectants stay in your skin. if you don't have emollients the humectants actually make your skin drier than it was before. ALL THIS MOISTURIZER HAS IS HUMECTANTS. yet still makes me so greasy. Anyways DO NOT BUY THIS

After doing some research, this product was recommended to me for my sun spots. After four weeks of use, I can already see a noticeable improvement. I apply it every other night as part of my nighttime routine. I also use vitamin C during the day and retinol at night. Since I have seen positive results, I plan to continue using it.

Q
Would this be recommended for use with Rx cream for anti aging
Asked by Mandy
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. Was this answer helpful to you
