I liked this brush a lot until the base where the bristles are, that silvery lining started to peel off and shed into my hair while brushing. I never used this brush while my hair was anything more than slightly damp, and it was always left to be able to dry So I'm not sure what happened, but I can see it happening now to another one of my babyliss brushes now that I can recognize it. Not worth the money
