 Naked Eyeshadow Stick

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This eyeshadow is very pretty. It is softer and more subtle than I was expecting. It has a soft metallic sheen that can be seen in certain light, and a subtle sparkle. The color I received, Private Album, has silver glitter and a silver metallic sheen. The formula is soft and easy to apply. It glides on the eyelid and blends easily with full coverage. It dries down fairly fast, so blending needs to be done quickly. If you are someone who doesn't like to spend a lot of time on makeup and doesn't have a lot of brushes, you can quickly and easily apply these all over the lid then smudge with your finger. The tip is a good size if you want all over color, but it is too big if you want to do a wing or only apply to part of your eyelid. I wanted to try this on my outer corner, so so just applied to a brush first, then used the brush on my eye. This is long wearing. I wanted to really test it so I used on bare skin with no primer or powder, and on a 95 degree day where I was continually outside. It did not crease or come off after 8 hours, even when I was sweating. The metallic effect somewhat dulled, but that is the only change I noticed. Because it is long wearing it is also somewhat difficult to remove. I can't use eye makeup remover due to my lash extensions, so I imagine it would come off more easily if you use remover. But even once you remove the shadow, there are flecks of stray glitter that remain. I still have a few days later despite washing every day. I like glitter so this doesn't really bother me, but it is something to be aware of for those who don't. It did not cause any skin irritation. These eyeshadow sticks are fun and the colors are gorgeous. If you want a no nonsense and quick eyeshadow look, these are perfect!

It gives a great pop of shimmer and because it's a stick I can use it like a color pencil or crayon and get more precise with my placement of it. It glides when you use it but doesn't budge afterwards.

Whether it's a full day of errands or a trip to the office, this neutral but shimmery shade is the perfect pair to every look! The packaging itself is sturdy and has survived two long distance travels. While the application itself is creamy, as promised, I do find it takes quite a bit of swipes for the pigment to adhere to a foundation base. Otherwise, an overall great addition to my minimalist makeup routine.

It does transfer easily so be mindful not to touch or lay down with it on. Also performed well for an entire 12 hour day by not clumping or spreading.
