Smells horrendous
Received this product as a mini gift with purchase and was excited to test it out. Typically I love olaplex scents like their shampoos, conditioners, no5 (leave in hair treatment), and no7. This one smelled like old dirty socks and that itself is an understatement. At first I thought I was trippin out about the smell but my bf came to kiss me on the forehead, made a stank face, and asked if I even washed my hair bc my scalp smelled horrible. The smell slowly went away after blowdrying and it settled down overnight. I'm not sure if it was the batch I received but aside from the smell, it didn't really do anything for my scalp so it went straight into the trash!
Meh… There's Probably a Better Option Out There
I got this as part of an Olaplex kit I bought, so I initially wasn't looking for this product. My scalp can sometimes get dry and itchy in the winter, but usually my biggest issue is greasiness and buildup. I've tried it a few times this winter and so far, I have not noticed any difference with it. It could be that I never had a problem for it to fix, though.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This is my second time buying this for my dry itchy scalp. It works. It's kind of pricey but I'll keep buying it until the price goes out of sight.
Only thing that has soothed my scalp
I even went to the dermatologist for my itchy scalp and nothing helped as good as this did. It takes consistency for about two weeks and half the bottle in that time, but my rough patches on my scalp are finall softened and fhe itchiness is way down.

Hair Type Straight Hair
I used the Olaplex Nº.0.5 Scalp Serum Treatment consistently and followed the directions, but I didn't notice any real difference in my scalp health or hair. It didn't irritate my skin, I'll give it that much, but given my results with other products from this brand I expected to see some visible results. During the summer I swim a lot and it often causes me to have flaky scalp. After using this, I still have flaking as you can see in the photos. A scalp serum should either invigorate, calm, reduce flakiness, or help with shedding and this didn't check any of those boxes for me. It might work better for others with different scalp needs, but in my experience, it just felt like an extra step with no results. I wouldn't recommend this product based on my experience. This product was provided for promotional purposes in exchange for my honest review.
