I didn't like that there were small bits of material (mugwort, I guess?) in this mask. I prefer a smooth textured mask, or else one with a uniform consistency, like a scrub. I also didn't feel a substantial increase in my skin's hydration after my first use of this mask. Although my skin did feel sl...

Just received the online order and tried it 1 hour ago!! Reminds me of my childhood in countryside of South Korea. Nostalgic. Mugwart(ssook) does have the earthy smell and I love it. After the war with that fungal acne, like I said in other recent reviews for Mediheal madecassoside pads and other products, I need to prevent it. The ingredients seems to have antifungal, antibacterial and anti inflammatory benefits. My skin and my mental health is having a retreat, spa and vacation moment with the Mugwart Essence after the mask. Thank you.

Although my skin did feel slightly bouncier and more hydrated after I rinsed the mask off, it wasn't a huge difference, and the mask's texture is just so off putting to me that I find myself wanting to just throw the rest of the jar away. For anyone who would be OK with the texture of this mask, I could see it being a decent value. It didn't take much mask to cover my entire face, so you would probably get a decent number of uses out of each jar. Also, I couldn't bring myself to leave the mask on as long as the instructions recommended (3 hours or overnight), and it's possible that I would have seen better results if I had done so. I just can't imagine that there are many people who wouldn't be bothered by the mask's texture.
WORTH IT!
This was my first time trying out this brand and I was a little hesistant. There are so many face masks on the market, and the price points get a little rediculous. This mask is worth every penny. It gives you moisturized skin, without the greasy finish, and a little bit of exfoliation. I like to use it at night because I wake up to the softest skin. I'll definitely be repurchasing after this jar.
