I used it once earlier this week and the next morning my skin was super stinging. I haven't used it since and my skin is peeling in places. I've been smearing moisture surge all over my face to ease the dryness. While I can see the benefits of it for someone with less mature skin than I, it's like retinol times ten for me.
Pills A LOT!
This product pills a lot on my face and neck, even when i only use the other moisture surge products for face prep. The product pills on its own even without the application of makeup. When applying makeup over it you must work quick which is a negative for me as i isually do my eyes first and i find that repeat application of the moisturizer is deleterious. Would highly recommend something else especially if you have combination or oily skin.

My 56 year old skin is sensitive; no retinoids, retinols, or high percentage vitamin c. They all make me itch, peel and sometimes swell. The lactic acid in this product I can tolerate, and the glycerin is quite nice. It feels a bit tacky until it dries, but I wake up in the morning with smoother, softer skin. I have to take a break every 4th night, and use moisturizer only. It is not fading my dark spots much, but it has helped with smoothing the texture of my skin. Also, as serums go, it is not tremendously overpriced, and I appreciate that. I will repurchase.
