Most Helpful Positive Review Could be a best seller if more shades
This product is better than the talc free mineral powder but it needs more shades. Because of the higher spf, it leaves a bit more of the white cast on skin. If the pigment was a bit warmer, slightly more golden or peach, it would warm up the skin making it appear more natural in office lighting. It has a beautiful airbrush like finish. I get so many compliments during the winter time when I am able to use this. Please make shades so that I can wear this during the summer months as well. Most people tan during the summer, and need something a bit more golden/peach.
Most Helpful Critical Review Made my Pores look huge!
I've heard good reviews on this product and generally like PP products! This one was a major fail for me. I have combo skin, and was looking for a good powder foundation with an spf, this one looked good. It has some light shimmer in it, and while I love a nice shimmer/highlight, this was terrible. It emphasized my pores, I swear I could see every one and they looked huge! And highlighted any wrinkles/expression creases that I made during the day. I tried it with various primers, moisturizers etc... I really did want to like this product! Major fail for me!

im naturally tan and i got the translucent powder thinking it wouldn't look white but as soon as it was over my makeup it instantly got cakey and it made me 3 shades lighter
LJP from Illinois
I'm pleased with the product. I have 2 shades of the pressed powder. One for summer season and one for rest of year. Visibly smooths my aged skin in a flattering way. No excess powder or lines.
A great finishing powder!
Kat Pat from Greensboro, Nc
I use this as finishing powder after I apply BB/CC cream or foundation. It also lasts on the skin for a decent amount of time, and provides nice coverage for acne/redness. Definitely will purchase again, especially for the summer months.

I love how it blends with my skin. Highly recommended.

This is a very good product I love that it has spf in it

Oh the disappoint! I bought this to try and utilize its SPF 30 when on the go. I went to apply it on my face and it left a horrible white cast on my skin! I will be looking for another alternative.

It's good for reapplying your sunscreen throughout the day.

I'm a gal that loves budget looks and also pricey items depending on the occasion. PF has always been a great drug store find becuase it is so good and it actually works. It does not break you out! There are a few brands out there that will break you out and work , but this one is the opposite. It's super airbrushed look and the pressed powder just glides on.
The price point is amazing, by the way and there are always sales.
Horrible color selection
Ashley from Arizona
It is 2021, why is physicians formula still having a difficult time expanding their shade ranges. There should be no excuse.
Don't buy if you have large pores/ oily skin
Caroline from PA
I've never encountered a product so bad that makes me wanna write a review just to warn people lol. It has SPF, but for some strange reason, even though it's a powder, it's super cakey and tacky. Made my pore look huge and it just floats on top of the facial oil secreted during the day. My face look gross with huge immediately after applying. It's really not for thicker layer application.

I really like this powder! I love that it has SPF and provides a good amount of coverage. I just wish it came in more shades
great for spf reapplication
blaise from oakland
although this is definitely not translucent it does blend in well and is much easier to reapply than other powder SPF's because usually they're in very inconvenient applicators.
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear
sasshley from undisclosed
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30 - Translucent I bought this as a way to easily reapply my spf on top of my normal sunscreen. It's a nice way to mattify your sunscreen if it's too dewy. The beige color is nice since I have light skin and I do use self tanner, so the hint of color is very subtle and healthy. Only downfall is the awful brush it comes with. It doesn't grab anything and makes too much loose powder and very messy if you want to use the mirror. I suggest using a Korean air puff cushion, it'll grab more product for an even application.
I looove this product!
savnana from undisclosed
I looove this product! I've struggled with finding the best powder for my oily and sometimes dry skin, everything always looks patchy and doesn't do my face any good. This powder blends out all my oil and leaves my face poreless and also adds some bronzing! The only thing i wish it would do more is covering redness a bit more!
Not bad but….
CarLar from Erie, PA
It went on very smoothly and worked great at first. Unfortunately..it broke up on the skin a few hours later and made my foundation, which I normally have no issues with at all, look bad.
Ashley from Augusta
This is so good it even gets rid of red tones and covers blemishes well natural looking a little matte but not completly
CA from MD
I like using it LIGHTLY to reapply sunscreen. But I have to be really careful when applying because it looks really bad on my face. It doesn't apply flawlessly and it is noticeable on the skin. However, there aren't much powder sunscreen so I stick through it.
Can't believe how long it too me to find this!
Zml from Tucson, AZ
This is one of those hidden gems. Since the pandemic started I tossed my foundation routine. I wanted something with SPF and this is perfect. I feel like I don't have anything on my face while having some light coverage. It's a bit messy but worth it. I will keep buying this.
Not for Sensitive Skin
Tiffany from Texas
I have dry, sensitive skin. Within the first 10 minutes of wear, my skin went itchy, red and blotchy. I removed it immediately, but I ended up with three painful zits in my patch test area. Highly do NOT recommend. If I could give it zero stars I would.
A great setting powder
rachels410 from undisclosed
A great setting powder with an amazing benefit of having SPF! I love that it instantly mattifies and protects my face, but the only downside is that it somewhat clings to dry patches and peach fuzz on my face. Still an amazing product that I would repurchase.
Really like this face
hannahraemer from undisclosed
Really like this face powder. Helps give my makeup look a matte finish. Definitely for lighter skin tones. Has SPF included in it. Very good product for oily skin. Very soft and airy feel on my face.
Could be so much better with a few tweaks!
masilea from New York, NY
I really wanted to love this since I have been looking for a long time for a powder with good SPF to reapply during the day. My skin is oily, acne-prone and sensitive, so I'm picky about ingredients and I was happy to find a compact that was mineral-based and talc-free. But the bad packaging really turns an excellent product into one that's just OK. Firstly, the clasp on mine broke almost instantly, meaning it won't stay closed. The brush it comes with is tiny, cheap, and difficult to use. So much powder gets wasted before you can even get any on your face. I threw the brush out and use a regular puff now. Lastly, the "translucent" shade is misleading. It works OK with some blending for me, but it would be way too dark for anyone who is very fair, and other light skin tones may find this a little on the orange side. I'll likely repurchase since there aren't a lot of alternatives, but I think this could be a truly amazing product with just a couple of improvements!
Keplynnxx from Spokane, WA
I am self tanned but I still only wear a light to medium foundation shade because I don't go that dark. I bought this solely to take down the shine from my spf and I got the shade translucent. It definitely is not, it's basically straight up white. Totally unwearable, made me look like a ghost and it is on the heavy/cakey side.

I had to make the switch to this pressed powder after I found out my skin gets very irritated if I use too much talc. This stuff works great and is talc free so it's great for anyone with sensitive skin. This is my go-to so I purchase it every couple of months.
I like the way
jstaeh22 from undisclosed
I like the way this powder evens out my skin and doesn't make me look like a painted wax doll. A few powders and foundations have left me wiping my face off, trying to get the fake look to go away. This one is not that. The brush that comes with it is awesome as well. Not the typical sponge that most powders come with. I would buy again but will use caution to not drop it. My last one I dropped and it crumbled into a million pieces, making it hard to use in its original container.
