This Balm is Bomb!

ULTA brand does it again. This balm feels amazing and allows you to wipe the day away in one full swipe. I don't wear a full face of makeup everyday but when I do, this is what I use to take it all off. And it leaves your skin feeling so good, soft & supple afterwards.

So-so
I really liked the old IT cosmetics balm but wanted to try a cheaper version. This does what it says in terms of removing makeup, but there's nothing special about it. It's less pillowy/creamy than more expensive brands. It feels kinda like I could just slather on coconut oil instead. It definitely leaves more oil on my face than the IT brand or the DHC cleansing oil (which was my go-to for years and will probably go back to that), so it's essential to have a relatively deep cleaning cleanser as step 2. It also seems to get used up faster, like I need a bigger scoop.
Wow -- Cannot live without this Cleansing Balm!
I apply this balm daily to my face before I get into the shower. Just turned 50 and my hormones went completely nuts. Have dry skin for the first time in my life and this is my skin saviour. Sometimes I use another cleanser with hyaluronic acid after I wash my face with this cleansing balm, but I absolutely do not need to. It softens my skin remarkably well and I apply all of my serums, moisturizers, etc., after I get out of the shower. This is utter perfection for me and such an amazing product. I suspect those who call it "greasy" DO NOT have dry skin. This is for DRY SKIN. For the People with legit dry skin, this is a Holy Grail item. Love it so much!
Greasy mess!

Although this product seems to remove make-up well, it is so oily that the jar leaks out oil everywhere, even kept upright. Don't let this product get anywhere near your eyes, even closed! It will leave an awful film of oil on your eye itself, and you won't be able to see for a whole day!
