It says on it that it is oil free, but when you read ingredients, it clearly says that it has castor oil and safflower seed oil?

I have a sample size primer that's called Mattifying Face Primer and reads "controls shine and blurrs pores". Is the packaging different? This is the closest I find to my sample product. Its not called Pro Matte Prime as it has in the description on how it was formerly called.

Is this suitable for mature skin that is normal with only slight oiliness around my nose? I definitely have some pretty decent wrinkles I don't want accentuated. I live in Texas though and the weather just melts my makeup off in the summer plus I do like a full matte coverage so I'm hoping this might work. If not, I guess I can try the other brand for hydrating the skin.

Love this primer !
I've used 3 different primers from ulta, and this is my favorite . It's very silky and smooth, and makes a great base for my foundation!
Underrated Gem
I got this as part of a free gift set. I have used this by itself replacing my gripping primer from ELF and it performs way better than I expected. I don't have touch up my face throughout the day and it keeps my oils at bay. I usually get oily in my T-Zone area but no longer. It really makes me feel like Im not wasting products. If you have oily skin, this will do well even under another primer.
I don't think it's a bad product but idk if it's great
So its not terrible but when i put it on my face it got chalky and has weird texture
Pleasantly Surprised
I got this as a sample and was pleasantly surprised with how well it works and feels. Does a great job blurring and mattifying. At the end of the day, my oils come through, but in a subtle glowy way. Will purchase full size!
