My style is feminine and vintage with a rock and roll edge, so I love a pretty red lipstick to add some classic glamour to my overall look. However, most tend to pink out or orange out on me when I apply them. I also have a problem with matte formulas, which are drying and make my lips look cracked and chapped. The Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick in Bite Me is a real red-red with just a hint of brown. It applies comfortably, a little creamy with a velvety, non-shimmery finish that lets the gorgeous color take center stage. It's perfect for everyday wear because you don't have to reapply too often.

I got the baby pink color, Carried Away. It is a pale baby pink but the finish is not matte. It is a creamy finish, and it wouldnt build up. It's also not opaque. The more I put on, it seemed to get patchy and clumpy.
NOTHING like the picture
I ordered Hush which is pictured as a muted pink-nude. NOPE. It's *NEON pink*. A nice color, if that's your taste. But yikes, not what I ordered. The formula is super patchy and never dried down matte. Gonna stick to the WNW mattes instead.
Terrible all around
I bought Hush thinking it's be a nice muted pink nude. NOPE. Swatched it and it's an almost neon pink. Not to mention how insanely patchy it is. It's a straight up glossy finish, not matte, even with time to set.
