Use sponge damp for a dewy finish or dry for a matte finish. Saturate sponge with water and squeeze out remaining excess. Apply your favorite cream or liquid product using soft dabbing motions until fully blended out. Pro Tip: Use the large rounded areas for applying and blending larger areas of the face. Use the precision tip to conceal imperfections. Care: To reuse sponge, wash with mild soap and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let sponge air dry.

I thought this sponge was perfect...for the first 5 uses. I actually thought the beige stain on the bottom was perfect as I needed it for foundation. I wouldn't have to fret about 'ruining' it myself. The size was perfect, the density was perfect, I loved the finish it created. I did worry a bit about mold as it tended to not dry completely between uses but I was wiling to purchase a few of them and rotate each day. That is how much I adored this sponge! Then after the 5th use, I was rinsing it out and one of my nails (natural and not long or thick) put a nick in it as I squeeezed the water out. Once that happened, it was game over. Each time I squeezed it, the nick turned into a tear and got bigger and bigger...rendering the sponge useless. I am so disappointed that a product that is so perfect in every other way is utterly intolerant of normal daily use. Guess I will go give my money to some other sponge company. Lesson learned.
