If NASA ever needs a rocket sealant, they might want to try this mascara. I picked up the MAC waterproof formula on a whim and honestly did not expect it to be this good. The coverage is full, the length is wild, and the thickness makes my natural lashes look like they hired a stunt double. The magic is in the brush. Every lash gets its own VIP moment. Zero clumps. Zero spider legs. Just clean, pretty definition. The real star moment happened when I forgot I was wearing it and took a shower. I stepped out fully expecting to see raccoon vibes. Nope. My lashes still looked ready for a night out. It survived rain, a pool, and the kind of misty Minnesota humidity that usually sends my makeup sliding off my face like it is fleeing a crime scene. I guess what I am trying to say is that this mascara is committed. It shows up, does the work, and refuses to quit. A tiny nitpick: Removing it takes a little patience, but that is the price you pay for lashes that basically have job security. Final Verdict: MAC, if you ever need someone to hype your products with dramatic but honest storytelling, your girl is ready. Five stars. Would absolutely buy again.

I wouldn't change this mascara for anything, it stays on for hours and hours, it really takes 20+ hours to see it crumble. It can just be hard to take it off completely... But that's the intention I guess. I can dive with the mascara on and it does not move. Perfect.
Worst waterproof mascara
I'm honestly surprised at how bad this mascara is. If you have straight eyelashes you know that a waterproof formula is a must to hold a curl. I ran out of my drugstore mascara before a trip and picked this up at the airport. I curled my lashes as usual and applied it with excitement knowing it was "high quality" given the price. Nope, my lashes went straight down as they dried and I figured it was user error. I tried again the next day and same thing! I'm shocked at how horrible it is and will stick to my usual drugstore mascara going forward.
