I am a Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeshadow stick lover because of how velvety smooth it goes on my 50 yr old skin. I just wish they had more colors in stock. Does this BOBBI BROWN one go on velvety smooth and does it crease in mature skin?

For me, a five star rating means the product exceeded my expectations. Frankly I was so surprised at how much I love this eye shadow! I initially treated myself to a new set of skin care and makeup products to celebrate a new job, thinking I was indulging a bit. I really wasn't indulging, this is worth the price. This eyeshadow glides on both with or without primer on the lid. It is easy to blend and lasts all day then washes off with regular cleanser.

I was preparing for a destination wedding and thought how easily my eye shadow pallets could be damaged during flights, Uber etc. I read reviews and decided to try the BOBBI BROWN cream eyeshadow stick. I as so glad as I Love It. It is so easy to apply, doesn't crease and lasts all day. I will be purchasing more colors.

The only thing I liked about this was the texture, it was very creamy/soft and just glided right on. Problem #1 is that I ordered Moonstone based on the color "swipe" (2nd picture in the group) and it's much more like the tiny swatch that they show on the arms - much more golden than pink. So I'm not sure if the first few photos are accurate. That's a real bummer because I purposefully picked that color (not the gold one). I would recommend seeing the colors in person before you buy. Problem #2 is when I attempted to wash it off - glitter was ALL OVER MY FACE. I use a foamy makeup remover face wash to remove makeup first, then my actual face wash 2nd. I still had glitter on my cheeks and near my eyes so I tried using my 'strong' makeup remover and still didn't get it off, so I had to wash my face again. it's just not worth in my opinion, when I have other brands that glide on, stay well through the day, and remove easily. I purchased because it was on sale and I was trying to find a replacement for another brand w/ that specific color.
