Most Helpful Positive Review Staple in my routine I'm down to the last centimeter or so of mine, so Ulta decided to start carrying this at the perfect time! It might be a couple bucks cheaper at the drugstore, but I'm happy to be able to support Ulta and earn points for buying it through them. Also, it's always good to have a little something to throw in with your order if the value of your other products isn't quite enough for free shipping. Personally, I can't use Aquaphor's Lip Repair in the little tube because it has almost all the same ingredients —but with chamomile essence added. (TIP for fellow allergy sufferers: if you have a common ragweed allergy, stay away from anything in the daisy/calendula/chamomile/echinacea family because those plants are all in the same family as ragweed!!!)
Anyways, this lip balm is my go-to for simple, non-fragranced, non-irritating lip protection and nourishment. I apply it at the end of my skincare routine after washing my face or showering before bed. If I need a little extra oomph I layer CeraVe's Healing Ointment over top to extend the wear and lock in the moisture. Scented/flavored lip balms can be fun for a midday pick-me-up, but at bedtime I want to make sure that the lip balm I'm using has minimal, effective, gentle ingredients so that if it smears around my face or on my pillow while I'm sleeping it won't be a problem. This does the job! I only give it 4 stars because even if I love a product, I don't give it 5 stars unless there's something really innovative or mind blowing about it. But don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful product for what it is and for the price point it's offered at. (Also I've noticed a lot of 5 star reviews on Ulta seem to be fake like they were made by the company or bots or something? So it's also my attempt to prove this is my genuine opinion, lol.)
Most Helpful Critical Review not for eczema lips I have severe eczema on basically every inch of my skin and this lip balm did nothing. I put it on and 10 minutes later my lips still feel as dry as it did before putting on the chapstick. not to mention after a while a white ring formed around my mouth and just sayin I got a lot of stares from my neighbors when I went outside. My eczema is really bad, the skin on my lips will peel up, form blisters, bruise, and bleed if they aren't hydrated. if you have severe eczema like I do, this isn't for you. would give 0 stars if I could

Ulta is the only store in my area that always has the repair stick in stock. Always have it nearby in the winter months
The Worst Lip Balm Ever. 1
Alex from Boston, MA
I've used other Aquaphor products in the past that have worked fine for me, including the squeeze tube of lip repair that they make. So naturally, I was intrigued to find a balm stick that was less messy. HOWEVER, this stuff has actually caused damage to my lips. They are worse off now than me just going without balm. It looks like I've been sick. My lips are cracked, red, peeling, and irritated. It also gave me dry mouth and caused this nasty white ring of residue around my mouth. Needless to say this stuff is going straight into the garbage where I hope it rots.
Love it that it is i stick. I will be stocking up!!! 5

Great 4

I bought this one because a dermatologist I follow suggested it. I use it before bed, when I wake up, and then again after eating. For the people who say it doesn't last, you're supposed to reapply often because it comes off during the day. Anyways, I prefer this over Burt's bees. If you're lips are that chapped but the la rochey cicaplast moisturizer.

Sorta does the trick, sorta hydrates, but doesn't last long, rather just use regular old aquaphor.

This is a lip TREATMENT, not a lip BALM. 5
GlamberWaves from Chicago, IL
I think a lot of these reviews are really unfair. This is a lip treatment, not a lip balm. It's not going to feel like a lip balm. It is to repair dry/cracked lips and it does. I put this on before bed and it's still on in the morning when I wake up and my lips are smooth and plump instead of dry and cracked. It goes on smoothly for me, not "like a candle". I keep one at work and by my bedside. Love it!
Last about 30 minutes at most 1
Lizzie from St. Louis, Mo
I have severely dry lips. I love the squeeze tube of this so I thought I would buy this to make it easier to apply. The formula is rough and dry to apply and the smoothness lasts at most thirty minutes. I love their other products but this one is a major flop in my opinion. The chapstick moisture line is much better if you want a stick to apply with.
Feels good on my lips 5

I like that it moistened my lips without an aftertaste on my lips.

product is fine not sure about (candles?) 5
Dan from Colorado
The product works fine not sure why both bad reviews are talking about candles? its obviously going to be a more solid version of the Aquaphor ointment hence how they can get it in a tube if you feel the product is too resistant on your lips put it in your pocket and voila
Not my favorite 3
Lexi from NY
My dermatologist recommend this as I my lips are super dry during the cooler day's. It's not anything special. It's uncomfortable to apply.... no matter how long you have been using the product. The formula is stiff and dosen't glide as easily. It dosen't hydrate my lips or lock in moisture. If you want a good lip balm product get the chapstick total hydrations ones! They are the only product that helps my lips and locks in moisture for hour's!
This one dosen't do anything. When I apply it It's uncomfortable and within 5 minutes It's off my lips. Not worth it.

Nice! Works wonders for my crusty lips
Must have 5

I am so surprised this doesn't have better reviews! I absolutely love this stuff and keep a stick with me everywhere (in every bag, in my car, on my nightstand, in the makeup bag, etc!) it isn't super greasy feeling which may make it seem less hydrating but this is so softening. It's the perfect prep before lip color also - a must for me!
Just don't 1
Kacimm from Denver, Colorado
I was excited to see a good brand in a stick form. But it doesn't actually go on your lips. Feels like rubbing a candle on your lips.
Nothing like the original 2
BadgrrrlGG from Texas
I was so excited to try this, but unfortunately it's nothing more than a stick of wax with some oil. For me it did not hold a candle to the original formula. It's obviously much easier to apply but I definitely would not re-purchase.
