i needed to get this because i am a tea lover who needs all my products to smell like tea. i am not the biggest mint lover in lip products so this was totally going to be 50/50 risk i was willing to take. the scent is not a sweet mint but a herbal mint. i know this is "clear" but idk how or what they put in here to make my lips look better even when its clear. i think its not completely clear and has a veil or slightly ever so slightly milky but not a white cast to the clear color. it fills in all the lines and plumps the lips and it makes them look soooo smooth. this is thicker than summer fridays and hugs the lips more but not as thick as ole henriksen. i find ole henriksen to feel uncomfortable especially when reapplying and sometimes its too heavy. the summer fridays dissapear so quickly and feels more thin and greasy. this is summer fridays but slightly more grip if that makes sense because its thin, not sticky at all and comfy and creates an angelic veil over the lips. i wish it has more tea than mint, its literally a cup of mint tea if you ever had those Tazo mint tea bags. if you want a clear lip balm that isnt sticky and love mint but dont want a super sweet one without vanilla then this is def for you.

Smells great and is a beautiful color! Pair it with a lip liner a tad lighter or a tad darker and its a beautiful lip combo! I wish it was a TAD thicker but its still a wonderful product and I will continue to purchase!
Sickly sweet maple scent
I wanted to love this vanilla date but it has a sickly sweet maple scent. I couldn't stop smelling it. It was like I had pancakes for breakfast and got syrup in my hair it was so strong. My lips also felt dry. It left almost a crumbly feeling. Definitely would not recommend.

I expected it to be more of a soft cushioning type gel like consistency and it's not. I would describe this is thin and wears off very quickly. I think regular Chapstick might actually be more moisturizing than this, and I hate Chapstick.
