- Start with hair that is completely dried and detangled before using Le Pirouette. 2. When initially plugged into an electrical outlet, the lights on the tool will illuminate in succession from the lowest to the highest temperature (the tool has not started heating). 3. To power on and heat Le Pirouette, press the power button for 3 seconds. The barrel will automatically center itself upon activation, and a white light will blink above the default temperature of 370°F until it reaches temperature. 4. To select a different temperature, quickly press and release the power button until the light above your desired temperature begins blinking. 5. Once the tool has reached temperature, the white light will become solid. 6. Apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice. 7. Press the thumb rest to open the clip. 8. Starting 1-2 inches from your ends, insert a 0.5-1" section of hair (for best results, insert hair into the middle of the clamp). 9. Press the \< or \> button to auto rotate the barrel in your preferred direction. 10. Once the strand is wrapped, hold for approximately 5-10 seconds. 11. Press the thumb rest to allow the curl to slide out from around the barrel. 12. Allow the curl to cool in the palm of your hand. 13. Press the home button to return the clamp back to center. 14. Repeat the process on additional sections of hair until the desired style is achieved. 15. Apply your finishing spray of choice and tousle to separate. 16. Once you're finished styling, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn tool OFF. All lights will turn off. 17. Unplug Le Pirouette and wait until completely cooled before storing away.

Not worth the money
I was completely underwhelmed by this product. It's a lot of hype for basically a regular curling iron. And when you use the rotation feature it makes it hard to find the clamp to release. Just feel like it is an over glorified curling iron with half a clamp. And honestly I would love to return it b...

Not loving it
As a curling iron, it is ok and works well, heats up quickly. I don't really need the self roating feature, I know how to ratate it myself, so for the price not really worth it. I should have returned it.

Easy to use and my curls last until my next shampoo
Not my favorite curling iron
I got this curling iron because I liked the idea of self curling like the beach waver… my daughter loves the l'ange products. I ended up getting two. The first one i had for less than a month and it stopped rotating. The second one lasted longer, but all of the lights would start blinking and it wouldn't rotate when that was happening. I just tried to torn my curling iron on earlier this week and it wouldn't even heat up. I don't recommend this one
I am not satisfied at all.
I purchased this for my mom to use because I figured it would be easier to use than a regular curling iron since it has the automatic curler.. wrong. I would consider myself to be pretty advanced, and we both have burnt ourselves multiple times.
Just purchased & love it!
I haven't had it long enough to vouch for quality, yet. It appears to be well made and arrived in a nice sturdy box with full instructions for use and care. I thought it would have a longer warranty (limited one year) & there are plenty of disclaimers to void the warranty, and made in China so probably just trash it if it fails after one year. Nice long cord! It is easy to use, once you get used to the buttons. I had to become more coordinated, once I figured out which way I wanted the curls to go.
