Use less mascara on lower lashes than on top lashes. Or forego mascara on lower lashes for a more casual look. After you've coated lashes with mascara, add just one more layer to the outer corners. The extra coat will make your lashes look especially long.

Opened package.
This package was opened. The corners were taped back down. The mascara was sliding out from the packaging. That makes me a little nervous. I've used this mascara before and I liked it. I wish they wouldn't send out pre-opened packages of things that will be applied near your eyes.

Not the same
I've been wearing this mascara exclusivley for at least the past 10 years. I purchased a couple twin packs during a sale. Immediately upon opening it is very dry like 6 month old used mascara. Very disappointed it is unusable

This product was perfect for me and I was complimented as If I was wearing lashes, but little did they know it was this great mascara. I used for both top and bottom and it gave me length and thickness. Love it no complaints whatsoever and inexpensive.
Tried and true go-to
I'd never been super loyal to mascaras until I found some I really like. I lean toward a brown or black brown and the first time I tried this version years and years ago it was the only brown color mascara in stock. Fast forward to just a few years ago, rushing to work and realized I forgot to put on mascara! I usually carry a small travel size one now (a sample or something just in case that happens again). I stopped by a drugstore and saw this one, knew I liked it and went for it. I don't have really long lashes or anything but I've never had a mascara that didn't lengthen quite a bit anyway so I reach for the volume ones. This one does it all for me. Not hard to come off and doesn't bleed into my lower lash line. Gives great volume but also length without clumping. It's not super wet/transfers everywhere/too heavy to hold a curl. The wand is a bit bigger than my ideal preference, I wish it could be the size it is but the tip a little smaller. And the tube is big/takes up space. Those cons are so minor for me, I know this will always be a great option. ** And Covergirl has been leaping bunny certified since 2018. Love CG!
does the job
it's an good mascara. i wouldn't say it's anything special. it doesn't smudge at all which is good. it does a decent job at lengthening and not much for volume.

This is my favorite mascara. It gives volume to lashes. My personal tip: top lashes: brush your lashes up and turn the brush around counter clockwise. Gentle on the tips of the lashes if they need a little more length to it.
