Hair type: 4a/4b The shampoo kinda has a thicker aloe Vera gel texture. I don't think it's particularly moisturizing or drying*. I have very coily 4C hair and I've been looking to try new shampoos. This shampoo smells amazing and lathers up very well. I felt like it really hydrated my coils which I loved, I just wish it was a bit more clarifying, I feel like my hair didn't get as squeaky clean as it could. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My hair is on the thick side and really picky. I do use Shea Moisture products, but I don't use their shampoo and conditioner, so this was a first. I did not experience any issues with it, and I only used it once. With my hair, it takes multiple times for me to use it and get a feel for it, so it is something that I would like to include in my routine. I would recommend anyone to give it a try to see if it works for you, you would love to have the smell of this line of products.
