Is the Tinted Volumizing Gel replacing the Brush-On Styling Mousse from Clinique? The Brush-On Styling Mousse is sold out on the Clinique website and also not shown on the Ulta site, so I ordered the Volumizing Gel from Clinique. I agree with posted Ulta reviews that the soft brown color of the Volumizing Gel is much darker than expected and is too thick. Instead of enhancing brows, it makes them stand out too strongly.

If you have gray (light) eyebrows that are thinning, then this stuff is not for you! I consulted on the color I should order for which they said soft brown. Now I'm leading with my eyebrows!!! Way too dark! They really don't have a color that is good for graying hair. Also it is messy, thick and just overall undesirable. I will be returning immediately!

When you first apply it, it seems like the right color, but then it gets darker and more prominent. It does not look natural.

After not being able to purchase the brow shaper pencil that I liked , I tried this product. I promptly returned it for a refund. I found it a goopy hard to use product that was better suited for haloween and not anything I would use on a daily basis.

I have wide but sparse brows. This gel makes me look like I'd been living in the wilderness for a while. Seriously, it is too thick, the brush makes it hard to apply evenly, and the product gets all over the skin so you have to take extra time to clean up. Removing the gel takes an effort as it seems to cling onto the brow hairs. The only positive is the color (soft brown) which worked for me. However, the negatives outweigh this positive, so I am returning it.
