I received this product for free to test and leave a review. I truly believe this makeup-melting cleansing balm does its job! It smells fruity and delicious, and I felt excited putting it on my face. I initially tested it out with a full face of makeup and massaged it in for a few minutes, and it had quickly turned into oil and melted all of my foundation, lipstick, and even my stubborn mascara. Additionally, it was easy to wash off with water and a face wash. My only concern is that it may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin, as it has a strong fragrance. After use, I noticed a pimple or two, but that may have been from a different product or the mixture of this with the product. The second picture is of me with the makeup, and the second one is after 30 seconds of massaging the balm into my face - it worked so well!

I'd used the regular e.l.f. cleansing balm in the past and wanted to try out this one for the watermelon scent. Sadly, this doesn't have much of a scent, and the scent it does have is watermelon plastic. The product performs fine, but I don't feel it works as well as the cleansing oil I normally use. However, I was happy that this version of the cleansing balm does not sting my eyes like the original version does.
