I have a mix of wavy and curly hair and my crown needs help with volume and curl and I need some grit This product is wonderful! I don't need a full pump. I only press lightly for about half a pump. and then use a small amount of the Curlsmith In Shower Style Fixer. For a second and third day refresh, I just spritz some water on my hair and it comes back to life. I love Curlsmith products!

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
My hair is classic 3A with some 3B underneath, low density at the crown, higher density at the nape of my neck, medium texture (not soft, not rough). This mousse is exactly what it claims to be - volumizing, and with plenty of hold. I've been using it under either the flexi jelly or style fixer gel (either works great), on top of a leave-in or curl cream. It doesn't work as well on top of gel. (Feels too tacky). It is definitely heavier than any other mousse or gel mousse I've tried, which is why I think it works for me. (And maybe doesn't work for some of the reviewers with wavy hair?) If you're expecting a super watery, lightweight foam (i.e. the Rizos curl mousse), then look elsewhere. But if you have truly CURLY hair and want serious volume and good hold, this is the product for you!
