I had a sample of this product and decided to try it out since I developed a few weird little bumps on the side of my nose my regular exfoliant just wasn't getting rid of. BAD IDEA!! I thought that since it said "daily", that meant it wouldn't be anything crazy harsh and my skin could handle it fine...

Dermatologica is the best!
I've been using Dermalogica products for 36 years. This cleanser recently made a few changes to its formula. I'm finding it to be a nice improvement. My skin is well moisturized after daily use.
Your Skin Will Squeak
I first tried Dermalogica's Daily Superfoliant when I got it as part of a promotion Ulta was running a few years back. When I recently decided to overhaul my self-care routine, I remembered how amazing this stuff made my face feel and grabbed a bottle. I have no idea how I managed to go several years without it after my initial try, but being reunited with this Holy Grail truly feels SO good! I can almost literally feel my skin breathe after using this product. Two uses is all it took for my pores to look visibly cleaner -- and I have a serious problem with visible pores on my nose. I did have a few pimples pop up immediately after the second use, but nothing close to a breakout and the rest of my care routine took care of them. Since they were in some of my more notorious problem spots, I suspect this is a result of the detox ingredients drawing the nasties out to the surface of my skin, which is what it's designed to do. Like the headline says: this stuff will make your face so smooth and clean it will literally squeak. I have never experienced that from another skin care product. It's honestly a little scary... but SO satisfying! Genuinely powerful stuff. I can confirm that back when I got the initial sample, the gal doing the demonstration did mention that it can be too harsh for those with sensitive skin. She recommended using the Superfoliant once per week and the Microfoliant daily. I have a combination skin type that loves to cake itself in oil, dirt, and dead skin throughout the day, and my only skin sensitivities are to certain fragrances, so for me personally, the Superfoliant is my daily go-to!
Smells Awful, but great on my skin
This product is great for exfoliation and lathers really well. I have semi sensitive skin with rosacea and I use this at night and have never had issues. I love how soft my skin feels after cleansing with Precleanse and this to follow. However the smell is HORRID. It smells like burnt electrical wires. I probably will never buy it again for this reason alone, and switch to another one of their cleansers.
I would buy this again and again
This has been my go to exfoliant for the past 3 years so am an og. I love dermalogica and it has given my skin an amazing turn around. I always swear by this and have put my friends on to it. I have nothing bad to say about it. I LOVE IT!!

Hello, I'm 63 (64 in June) and live in SW Florida. I teach exercise part time to seniors and am out in the sun a lot. I do wear SPF 50 mineral sunscreen but feel my skin could use extra brightening and exfoliating to help remove makeup and sun products. My skin feels dry except around the nose and I am starting to get some dark spots. Can I use this morning and night or should I just do it at night?
