This hairdryer has the power of a jet engine but it does not get very hot (even on the highest heat setting) and tangles my hair terribly.

Holy heck! I havent had an "expensive" hair dryer, probably ever. I had zero intention of spending dyson money.. this one, i wasnt even sure of. Thankfully my local ulta had this on display (with power) so i was able to "test" it. Instantly made me purchase it! 100% worth it. Dried my hair quickly and eliminated a lot of the frizz that my old cheap air dryer could not!

This is a really nice hair dryer that has powerful airflow. I normally use a Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, and I think this one has slightly stronger airflow than mine. It definitely dries my chin-length hair very quickly. It's lighter than my Dyson, but I wouldn't say it's light compared to other dryers that are made of plastic. This dryer is made completely of metal and has a shiny brushed metal finish. I wish the handle grip area was rubberized or made of a different material. I wear several rings on my ringers and they were constantly scratching against the handle of the dryer. If that kind of thing annoys you, you probably won't like this dryer. It has good heat and speed settings. There are three heat settings and three speed settings. They all work well but are placed in an inconvenient spot. My thumb or fingers constantly hit the buttons whether I'm holding the dryer in my right or left hand. It's very easy to change the heat or speed because of the poor button placement. The cool shot button actually blows cool air, unlike most dryers. It will stay on when you press it, too. I was looking for a smaller travel-size dryer but this isn't that small. It's slightly smaller than my Dyson, but not much smaller. I like that the heat and the speeds are good, but I wish it were a little smaller.

I purchased this blow dryer about 6 weeks ago and I'm loving it. I have fine curly hair and while I mostly air dry it, I like to use a diffuser at the end of my routine to give me a little volume. The lowest heat setting is perfect because it has barely any heat so I can avoid frizz. There is a cool setting but honestly I haven't had to use it, I just use the lowest heat. The medium heat setting is comparable to the low setting on my other dryer. The diffuser is easy to attach and remove and there is a Velcro strap attached to the cord to help with keeping it tidy. My only complaint is that the location of the cool setting makes it easy to accidentally turn on. But I give this product 9/10 and highly recommend!

I bought this after my Dyson died on me and i didnt want to spen $400 on another dryer so i though this would be a good alternative. I was wrong. I have long, thick/coarse, wavy hair. I usually blow dry it straight and I have used another inexpensive conair dryer(the orange one) without any issues. Honestly, I probably should have just bought that orange one again because this one is horrible. It tangles my hair like no other dryer. It is powerful and blows air very fast but unlike my old dyson this one not only cause horrible tangles it burns hair too. I straighten my hair with a round brush and the dryer heats up too hot. I switched to the warm button but it isnt hot enough so im left with slightly frizzy hair. I learned the hard way that the attachments can only withstand the dryer being on high heat for a short amount of time because they will start to burn and discolor. My attatchment nozzle is now a blue and brown color. I am currently looking for a new dryer.
