I am so excited to have been sent this complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I love perfumes, and I love testing out new ones. I usually enjoy warm comfy scents, so after reading the notes of I Want Choo Le Parfum I was extra excited. First off, the bottle is very pretty. It is all a gol...d metallic color and, despite it looking opaque, is actually transparent enough to see the liquid inside. I will however say that this isn't very travel friendly since there is no way to secure the "cap" so that it doesn't spray. I would classify this scent as more of an evening and autumn / winter scent. The scent is very pretty but on me, there are definitely layers to this fragrance. The fragrance notes I sense to start are definitely not what I smell after a few hours. Upon first spray, I am immediately immersed in the warm yet fruity blackberry / pear combo. You also quickly get hit with strong patchouli. I love this combination! It really feels like something you'd want to wear on a fall evening. As it dries on me, it settles a little bit into what I am guessing is the sweet praline scent. It is sweet and warm, but definitely not vanilla. Lastly, after a few hours, I smell what I believe is the musky, woody, almost smokey ambrette on my skin and it is very soft. The final dry down isn't my favorite on me, and I wish it completely dried down with the sweet praline scent on my skin instead. If it stayed that sweet praline or even the patchouli on my skin, I would have loved this fragrance that much more. I could imagine spraying this on my sweaters and jackets in the fall / winter time and really enjoying it! The lasting power is fabulous - this perfume will definitely stay on your skin all night! So that being said, due to the good lasting power, super strength of the scent, and beautiful opening notes, Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Le Parfume easily gets 4 stars from me. I wish there was a 4.5 star option!
