- Official Answer By Pureology - BEHi there! We appreciate your interest in our Pureology Hydrate Shampoo. We do not believe that there should be any issue with using our products; however, since our products have not been tested in conjunction with Brazilian Keratin Relaxers, we cannot provide you with usage information. BEST shampoo for my hair
I've used pureology on and off for years. The price has me wandering off every now and again to find a better shampoo. I always come back to pureology!! This shampoo/conditioner leave my hair soft, shiny, and healthy looking/feeling. My hair has significant grey now and I color every 4 weeks. The fu...

Ok
I bought this after my stylist used it on me. It smelled great, felt refreshingly tingly, and gave me nice smooth voluminous hair. I bought through Ulta for the points. Won't do that again. Unfortunately I received an expired product, it has almost no scent, no tingle, and feels a bit oily even afte...

Tried and True
I have been using the Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner for years and will use them as long as they are made. Truly moisturizing and less breakage than with other brands. The scent is more natural, a little hint of rosemary, which while I dont love at least it does not knock you out with artificial fragrance. The lack of fragrance has become something I appreciate.
Works great, don't like the scent
My hair looks great with this shampoo, even better with the conditioner. I have highlighted hair. I did notice some breakage while using this shampoo, but not significant. The thing i couldnt get past is the smell. It is very herbal (like Aveda shampoo), the conditioner is minty but doesn't cover the strong, lasting herbal smell. I switched to the Stength formula (less breakage and has a pleasent scent). maybe my hair looked better with Hydrate, but can't tolerate the smell.
I would buy this again

Love the way this smells and cleans
Horrible hair loss!!!
It really smells great and makes my hair soft. But i lost huge amounts of hair every time I used this. I was hoping maybe it was just a one time fluke, but no it happened every time. Returning!!!!
Smells terrible and is drying
Hair Type Straight Hair
I like the Pureology Hydrate conditioner but hadn't tried the shampoo so I ordered it recently. The smell is terrible and lingers even after shampooing with a different shampoo the following day. I also found it to be very drying and my hair felt coated and gross. I will return this soon.
