Apply onto lips, starting at the center and working outward. Layer as desired for buildable colour.

not really a stain?
it's super cute in terms of color, but it doesn't live up to the name of a lip stain. it comes off SO fast, even without drinking or eating or anything. i don't think its worth it for the stain factor, but if you wanna wear it as lip gloss it's good.

Super cute packaging but absolutely NO stain! I bought 2 mantra & 90s babe and they left little to no tint left but then tried the new elf sheer tint and that one did leave a stain which i was shocked. This woild still be nice as a gloss but thats not what i was looking for. Good for gloss bad for stain!
Did not stain my lips
The Fruit Punch color is pretty when applied. It unfortunately did not stain my lips though. It is comfortable on the lips, so I will use it up.
I would buy this product in every color
Initially when I first applied it, it felt sticky. But I realized I just used too much product at once, so the next time I used less and it felt smooth and not sticky at all. You can leave the stain on for a glossy look and throughout the day it'll naturally come off, or you can wipe it off after just a few seconds for that gorgeous stained color too.
