Good Except for Tacky Texture

Pros: - Smooth and even application. I recommend swiping it over your skin slowly, especially over delicate skin areas. If you go too fast, the stick can tug on your skin a little bit. - Convenient, when you're out and about: Can apply/reapply without using your hands to spread the product. This is ...particularly useful if you don't have access to a sink and your hands are dirty (ex: hiking/climbing/festivals) - Very portable: Compact size (approx 3" tall, 1. 5" wide) Due to stick form, it's easy to carry around without fear of spilling. The cap is very secure so you don't have to worry it'll pop open unexpectedly. - No smell: No fragrance, no sunscreen smell. Smells like absolutely nothing. - A little goes a long way: The stick doesn't wear down as quickly as I'd feared. Swiped over my whole face twice to ensure good coverage/no missed spots, expecting to have used a centimeter of product-- was surprised to discover I'd used up only about a millimeter. Cons: - A little sticky/tacky: if you touch your skin after application, it feels distinctly tacky. When I rest my cheek on my hand, it even makes a sound when I pull my cheek away. Stickiness is particularly noticeable on the insides of elbows and backs of knees. If you have furry pets, be warned: removing fine hairs that get on your skin is challenging. - Transfers from your skin onto anything you touch: Some got on my palm which made typing feel sticky. Plus, the melt-y nature of the product also made it feel. . . almost greasy? I tried using less product (ie. swiping over skin once instead of twice)-- same result: still tacky, still transfers easily. The fact it transfers easily makes me wonder if I should actually reapply more often than recommended. Could be a pro or a con, depending on your preference: - Makes your skin look dewy/ a little shiny. Overall, I'd give it 3. 5 stars. I'm not sure if I'd recommend this sunscreen. Aside from its convenience on days spent outdoors, the texture is enough to deter me from using it often. Still, it's a step up from other sunscreen sticks I've tried. This product might be for you if. . . - You're constantly on the go. - You're not sensitive to textures and/or rarely touch your face. - You're into that dewy, glass-skin look. This product might not be for you if. . . - You're sensitive to textures. - You have furry pets that shed. - You don't like that dewy, glass-skin look.
