I was so excited to try these curlers as a review! As a 80s baby, I had these kind growing up and they were my favorite! My kids love getting their hair curled and these do the best job of getting it curly and it staying curly. They heat up quickly and no trying to find pins, because let's face it, we all loose those! And they are great for smaller kids because they don't pinch and pull their hairlike traditional curlers!

This product has potential but did not provide me nice or long lasting curls. You have to be very neat with it as well, and then they kept unraveling from the twist. Sadly did not have a good experience

Tried the Conair hot sticks on my daughter, she has so much thick hair and these worked great. She normally has a hard time making curls last but these hot sticks did the trick! I do wish it came with more in the container but we did half her hair and then did the other side after. I have thinner hair so I had enough to do all my hair in one sitting.

My mom used to use these on me when I was little. Seeing this package, then trying them out took me right back! The results are good, but it does take some trial and error to not be pulling your hair out with each rod when removing them. I tried to use bigger sections to not get such a tight ringlet.

When I actually received my product I realized it truly was a "retro" curling product as it states on the box. It has definitely been improved. It has both the small diameter and medium diameter rollers in it, and I love that no other hardware is required as the rollers bend and hook into themselves. That worked great. They heat up quickly and the curls came out great using both sizes. My hair did hold onto the rollers so I could wrap them up cleanly, which surprised me as I have very fine hair and I expected hair to keep slipping off. I actually had the opposite issue, hair I did not want to stick would stick to the roller as I was wrapping them up so I pulled my hair a few times. I should have pinned my loose hair back as I was using them, and I recommend you do this to avoid that issue I would recommend this product as the curls were well defined and held their shape, something else I usually have an issue with in my fine hair. I wish there had been more rollers in the kit as I used small batches of hair to ensure the curl would hold so it took a while for me to do my whole head.
