These were super easy to use. They stayed in my hair easily! They heated up fast and gave me a lasting curl. The only draw back was that due to the fact that I have pretty dense hair it would have taken at least 2 sets to do my entire head.

I really like how user friendly it is, however I felt the directions could have been way clearer or including a diagram. The curlers only need to be on for a short amount of time or your hair will be Shirley Temple curly. It worked really for my six year old and her pigtails....no fear of burning her or me, and she didn't have to sit still until I pulled them off. Great product but I will need a few more attempts to become better at using them.

This is a good-quick substitute for hot rollers. I took mine on vacation as they are really compact and easy to travel with. They heat up super quick and are easily accessible. I really liked that I could just plug them in and by the time my makeup was finished they were ready to use. They are very easy to put into my hair and I was able to adjust them however and wherever I wanted very easily. They didn't burn my fingers at all which is something I was nervous of. The only thing I disliked about them was that when I took them out a lot more of my hair came out too which isn't something I have an issue with, with regular rollers or a curling iron. Although the texture of the rods is great for grasping my hair in the beginning, it is a negative aspect when taking them out as it continues grasping if you're not very careful. The end result was beautiful though and my hair looked amazing and kept its curl for hours. I really enjoyed using these rods and if it weren't for the hair snagging I wouldn't have anything negative to say. Regardless, these are fabulous hot rods and I will continue to use them but being more careful to remove them from my hair.

I received these to free to test… There isn't enough of this new version to curl my whole head at once. I have to do 2 batches. The material that they are made out of makes my hair stick more. It's definitely not as easy to unroll. But it works, with some patience.
I would buy this product again.
