I'll cut right to it, if you want a serious plumping lip gloss, get Polite Society. PS is noticeably thicker, but boy howdy IT PLUMPS. It is not for the beginner in plumping zestiness. This gloss doesn't plump. I got both the peach and queen bee, zero plump. So i know its not a one off batch issue. That being said….its still a nice gloss, just didn't do what i mainly bought it for, ya know? Its very glossy, perfect consistency( not too thick or too thin) and omg it smells yummy! There is a *slight* (as in, barely noticeable) tingle but again, no plumping so just don't wait around for results that wont appear.

I bought this because the only lip product for my chronically dry lips that I've ever found that I didn't have to reapply every hour is the Too Faced lip plumper; I have some circulation issues, so I figured that the increased blood flow from the plumping agents was to blame. So, I wanted to try a cheaper alternative. Unfortunately, this doesn't work as well. It certainly burns a bit (not a painful amount for me) and I think it does plump, but it doesn't moisturize nearly as well or as long. Which leads to the next con: I had to reapply this so often that I literally used the whole thing in less than a month. The doe-foot applicator on this thing is HUGE, which means it takes up a huge amount of the volume in the bottle. There isn't a lot of product in each as a result. Also, this stuff is STICKY. Like, when I got some on my hands after touching my lips, sometimes washing my hands once wouldn't remove it all. Cleaning this off my water bottle straws was a nightmare. Does it plump your lips? Yeah, I guess. But everything else about it other than the price isn't great. Alas, my search for a cheap lip moisturizer continues.
