I had never used a lip oil before trying Tulipscreen's Mauve Moment SPF Lip Oil, and I was impressed. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it included SPF40 and the timing of its delivery couldn't have been better. It arrived right before my second fishing trip of the summer. After dealing with chapped lips during my first trip, this lip oil was a game-changer. It kept my lips hydrated and protected from the wind and sun the entire week with nosign of chapping. Beyond the sun protection and hydration, I loved the shade Mauve Moment. I am not a fan of heavy, obvious lipstick, but this gives a natural, neutral wash of color that enhances your lips without looking overdone. And the wide tip of the applicator supplies just the right amount of oil in one sweep. It feels comfortable, looks great, and actually protects. I'm officially a lip oil convert!

I love how thorough the coverage is while having the benefits of SPF and hydration. In mauve, it's a playful, summer tone that works even into nighttime. For a lip oil, I am really impressed as how multifunctional it is in my lippie collection. Definitely a keeper!

This is a really nice lip oil with surprising color pay off. Right out of the tube it looks like a thick lip gloss, but the moment it touches body heat it melts into a thin oil. One layers gives a strong lip tint. It's easy to apply thin layers to build up the color and gloss. Although, I highly recommend wearing lip liner if you do so. The lip oil feels a bit minty upon application, but it doesn't burn or have that long lasting tingle like plumping lip gloss. It is very light weight and moisturizing. The mauve shade is very flattering, and I like that just wearing one thin layer is basically a tinted lip balm for a no makeup look. Or wearing two or three layers is a full on lip color.

It went on smoothly, wasn't to sticky an i felt like my lips were protected from the sun. The ingredients sold me on this brand. An the color was Amazing.
