elf HD powder + flash photography= DON'T
If you are going to buy this powder be careful when you use it. If you are going to use it at night then great. Any type of harsh lighting or camera flash will give you a white cast where ever you apply it. Specially if you use it over foundation. Also, the thin formula would be great if it didn't c...

Brilliant finishing powder for acne scars!

I have deep scars from acne all over my cheeks and forehead, and most foundations tend to emphasize the divots more than my natural skin. Brushing/blotting a little bit of the HD powder over my face once my makeup base is complete does an incredible job of blurring my skin from a distance. Buyer beware—up close, you might just look like you have Edward's "skin of a killer" from Twilight. The effect is best on camera or 3+ ft away. If you are standing next to a mirror, you will see your skin shimmer. The formula is made of incredibly small shimmery particles, so I absolutely understand other reviewers' reservations. To their concerns, I would say moderation is key. you only need a tiny amount to achieve the desired effect.
I would definitely buy this again!
Love it! With the history of cheaper products, it's usually poor quality.. BUT THIS! I love the people that work for ELF now & have brought quality at a great price point! Highly recommend! I apply with a large fluffy brush

this powder is so good it keeps my makeup on all day. i use it to set my eyebrows and eyeliner and it makes everything smudge proof
Disappointed
Did not work for me: settles in creases very quickly. After 1 hour it looks ashy after 2, I have aged 10 years. It just looks terrible on me. It might work better on younger, more hydrated skin.
