- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in the Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. We’re happy to help clarify. For double cleansing, you can use: • Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil — first step to remove makeup, sunscreen, and excess oil (use on dry skin, then emulsify and rinse) • Anua Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam — second step to gently cleanse remaining impurities This combination helps clean the skin effectively without over-drying, which is important for dry, mature skin. I have sensitive acne-prone skin that gets oily around in between my eyebrows and sometimes my nose area but normal everywhere else. I also use the Corsx Snail Mucin Gel cleanser. Will this pair well with the cleanser and will it break me out/damage my skin?
- Asked by kiki
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for reaching out and for your interest in our Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. The Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil can generally be used alongside your current cleanser. In fact, it is commonly used as the first step of a double cleansing routine, followed by a water-based cleanser. For your skin type (sensitive, acne-prone with some oiliness), this product is designed to be gentle and soothing, helping to remove makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum without stripping the skin. We recommend: • Starting with once daily use in the evening (every other night if needed) • Emulsifying with lukewarm water and rinsing thoroughly, then following with your cleanser If you notice any irritation or breakouts, we recommend discontinuing use. Please feel free to reach out if you need further guidance. Was this answer helpful to you

How does the oil remove dead skin/ which ingredient?
- Asked by Lauren
- Official Answer By Anua - Brand EngageThank you for your interest in our Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil. The cleansing oil works by dissolving oil-based impurities such as sunscreen, makeup, and excess sebum on the skin. When massaged onto dry skin and then emulsified with water, the oil helps lift impurities from the pores so they can be rinsed away. While it does not exfoliate dead skin cells like chemical exfoliants, the cleansing process can help leave the skin feeling smoother and clearer. Not for acne prone skin
I'm sure that this may work for some people, so take this with a grain of salt as everyone is different and I've heard good things about this cleanser. I'm just gonna share my experience as someone with combination, acne prone skin. I was already breaking out a bit, so I decided to give this cleans...

It broke me out
I saw a lot of people raving abut this & so I decided to get it but it broke me out a lot & I had a pretty clear face before I used it
Works great
Honestly my favorite oil cleanser. Can feel it unclogging my pores while I use it and leaves my skin soft. Doesn't break me out!
DO NOT BUY
This clogged my pores so badly it took me a year to get my skin back to normal.
Terrible for acne prone skin.
This product clogged the ever loving sheeps out of my face, it emulsifies and it feels thin but i got bumps all over my face completely it was horrible then came whiteheads and they all went away once i stopped using this cleansing oil, if you dont like this one, I doubt you will like the mild one because both are absolutely terrible and overrated. This product absolutely sucks and should be at the bottom of the barrel.
do not use this
the positive reviews have to be paid. this is the worst oil cleanser i have ever used. it gave me the worst skin texture i have ever had. look up reddit reviews before buying this, i wish i did!
