Unbelievable
I use this brush only after my hair is fully dried. I bought two of these brushes at my local Ulta store and i was very pleased with my purchase. It is super gentle on my hair and scalp! I also feel that it distributes my natural hair oils better than any plastic paddle brush, must be the bamboo mat...

Not so great
My hair is longer than shoulder lenght, thick and wavy. This brush did not smooth the hair- it seemed to make more tangles as I brushed, and pulled hair out of my head. My daughter tried it (also longer hair) and had the same result. Might be better for very short hair.

Disappointed
I have long, wavy, color treated hair and have struggled with tangles since I was a child. I did research on bamboo/wooden brushed because of the rave reviews they receive. This didn't work for me. It caused more tangles and broke my hair strands. I used it on wet and dry hair. I brush from the bottom up and work in small sections and still no luck. I will be returning this product.
