Usually when I put on most masks my hair gets pretty soft. I tried it in my child's type 2c/3c hair. same thing happened while it was soaking wet. After rinsing it out I have to use our regular conditioners to soften the hair again. I did notice more shine and a little more softness to our hair once it was dry. Because I liked the shine it gave, I tried it again but this time I conditioned as usual then added the mask over the conditioner. surprisingly that helped both of our hair and it was very soft and shiny when dried. the leave in condition is a better option than this mask, but I would not buy either again.

(I have fine, straight/wavy-ish hair) This hair mask is super hydrating and makes my hair so smooth and manageable after the shower. It also smells sooo good and fresh, it smells like if light blue by dolce & gabbana had a grass note. Definitely a great cheap hydrating hair mask!!

Very disappointed
I will sadly be retuenibg this mask. I had very hugh hopes for is based on the reviewws but unfortunately it did not work for me. I have 4a/b hair and this mask made my hair shed significantly as i was detangling. Even when i was first finger detangling and then went it with a wet brush. After rinsing it also keft my hair feeling very rough and far from moisturized. This is also considering i did a coconut oil pre poo and used my homy grail moisture shampoo prior to thsi mask. I like the smell and the gel-like consistency of the product but sadly that is all the positive I can say.
