Not the strongest but very pleasant
I bought this because I was looking for an everyday perfume that wouldn't break the bank, could be applied liberally throughout the day if needed, and had more responsibly sourced ingredients than most perfumes. This fragrance is indeed light, it's no Chanel, and needs a few more sprays than just pu...

My favorite scent EVOR, too bad it doesn't last
Wow! I was apprehensive about buying this before even being able to smell it first. But I convinced myself into it after reading reviews on top of the fact I usually love Ariana's scents. I have worn sweet like candy everyday since release. When I found that scent I decided that that was my forever ...

Unique scent, but doesn't last long enough
I purchased Ari perfume when it first came out several years ago and loved the cotton candy scent. I tend to rotate perfumes and never have a "signature scent" because I love variety. I figured I would try this scent during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty since it was half price. Initially, when viewing the fragrance online, I thought it was the ugliest bottle design I'd ever seen, but found out later that it's actually a plastic base for the perfume to nest in since the bottle itself has a narrow profile and could easily tip over. While I do appreciate the use of the plastic base, it's hideously ugly and the designers should know that this may, as in my case, initially turn people away from even wanting to try the perfume. Once I tried the perfume, I was in love. As with the Ari perfume, the initial notes were very sugary sweet with a bit of cotton candy scent. I can smell the pear a bit, but it's not overpowering in any way. Pear is a unique scent as I haven't found it in a lot of perfumes, so I did quite enjoy it. The initial top notes are otherwise hard to describe as, to me, they don't 100% align with the listed top notes of "ambrette, juicy pear". In fact, I had to look up what ambrette was because I was completely unfamiliar with it. Turns out it's a flower with warm tones of "pear, plum, iris and cognac". Ahhhhh....this is what I was smelling that I couldn't describe! Yes, that is a good way to describe the scent initially, though I'd add that it also smells a bit like toasted marshmallow. Once it dries down and the top notes fade, the middle notes of "orris, turkish rose petals" come through. The orris root should hold the scent of the perfume longer as it's used as a fixative, it doesn't seem to do the job. It has a great, warm scent, but there isn't enough of it in the perfume. Sadly, this is where the perfume starts to lose most of its scent. By the time it hits the base notes of "madagascar vanilla, creamy cedarwood", the perfume is barely noticeable. What a disappointment. It starts off so amazing, morphs spectacularly into the middle notes....and then croaks when the base notes should linger. In all, a great perfume, but the staying power is horrible. You will find yourself reapplying it at lunch and again at dinner if you're heading out for a night on the town. It just doesn't last. So much potential! If this was an EDT, I imagine it would have zero staying power. If you can get it on sale, and don't mind reapplying throughout the day, this is a great perfume. I've gotten loads of compliments on it even though it's probably intended for younger women. (I'm 54) I'd give it 5 stars if it lasted and the plastic base wasn't so hideously ugly.
Love this fragrance!
Third time purchasing this fragrance and I obviously love it! Wish it came discounted more often
I would buy this fragrance again
A nice fresh sent. Not overpowering
I like it
This is definitely a pear heavy perfume. I do like it once the top notes wear off a little. I do like it but I'm also glad I got it for half off because I feel like I won't gravitate towards putting this scent on. It's a good perfume just not my favorite.
