- Q
Can this be used to treat acne? Or would the nicinamide toner be a better fit?
- Asked by B
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageWhile the Glycolic Exfoliating Toner will not treat acne, it is a good option to exfoliate the skin to help prevent any further clogging of the pores, which will in turn help prevent future breakouts. You can incorporate this toner in the evenings, as it is a nighttime toner, and you’re welcome to still use the Niacinamide Brightening Toner in the mornings, if needed. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is this toner good for sensitive skin?
- Asked by BB Monster
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThanks for reaching out with your question! This toner is an exfoliating toner, so it is best to proceed with caution on sensitive skin, as there can be some irritation when using (depending on your sensitivity levels). Please perform a patch-test prior to use to ensure that you are not sensitive to the toner or its ingredients. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this be used with exfoliating serum or would they both be too harsh and exfoliate too much?
- Asked by Bri
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageWe do not recommend using this product with the Overnight Exfoliating Treatment in the same routine as they are both chemical exfoliants that may be cause irritation if used together. We recommend using the Glycolic Exfoliating Toner 3-5 nights per week and the Overnight Exfoliating Treatment no more than 3 nights per week. Be sure to apply sunscreen during the day as exfoliating acids may cause the skin to be more photosensitive. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q

- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageWe recommend using this product 3-5 nights per week, and can gradually increase to once per night at most. Be sure to apply sunscreen during the day as exfoliating acids may cause the skin to be more photosensitive. Was this answer helpful to you

Fantastic toner but definitely do a test patch
Did a trial of this product and someone else was right; it definitely had a painful burning sensation on my face BUT works AMAZING as a full body exfoliation step after the shower. Will never understand how some of y'all keep using a product that makes your face burn. If it burns that's not good! Do...

Burns too badly to use.
I had high hopes for this but it burned too badly to use. The burning was fairly intense and lasted and wouldn't stop. I had to rinse it off. I tried several times with it by itself to be sure and every time the burning was too intense. I can handle occasional use of The Ordinary's peel (the red one...

not sure about this one
i received the toner as a GWP for a good molecules event. i wanted to try it out and i noticed it has unclogged my pores, but i havent noticed much else. ive only been using it for a few months and havent seen results. i do like that while it is an exfoliating toner, it is also gentle enough to use every day.
Clearing face & body acne
This toner has been so golden. I put this in a small spray bottle and put it on a cotton pad. I use it on my face 2-3 times a week (when needed) and i spray it on my chest / shoulder blade area and its helped a lot with acne. Including cystic acne. I would recommend this to anyone!!
Good product, but have not seen results yet...
I have now been using this in my skincare routine for around 5 months. I apply it at night after my face wash and before my moisturizer. It stings a little once put on, but only lasts a few seconds. It has not once caused any purging of my skin, or any sensitivity. Although I do like this addition to my regimen, I cannot tell a difference in if it is helping or not. I got it to help get rid of my pesky under skin clogged pores, hopefully it will help over time!
Wanted to love it
I bought this for the little bumps on my face but using it burned my face and irritated it more and I feel like I had more irritation bumps after. I went back to using their niacinamide toner.
Bad reaction to product
This toner does have good ingredients for the most part i usually go for products that are non comodogenic (does not clog your pores) in which this product is. I tried it in the morning just yesterday and i saw my pimples became red and other little spots were red but it never burned and when i washed my face at night my face was full of little red hives. i will definitely be returning this product today.
