 Glow Getter Shimmer Body Oil

The Hempz Glow Getter Herbal Body Oil offers hydration but falls short in a few key areas which is why this product is just okay in my opinion. Firstly, the consistency is thicker than expected, making it challenging to spread evenly over the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. I would have to wash my hands after using the product because it just felt too sticky. While it does provide some moisturization, the thickness may not suit everyone's preferences, especially those with oily or combination skin types like myself. I already have very oily skin so using this oil would only make things worse and potentially cause breakouts. Additionally, the scent of the body oil is disappointingly faint. Given Hempz's reputation for fragrant products, I expected a more pronounced aroma. I tried the other products in the line and all of those were great- this one didn't really have much of a scent and also didn't last long at all after application. For those who enjoy a more noticeable fragrance experience, this may leave you wanting more. Despite some negatives, I do like the formula as it contains ingredients like hemp seed oil, which helps to hydrate and soothe the skin. I also am a fan of the packaging as it is was convenient and looked nice on my vanity. I really liked the pump dispenser that allows for easy application without creating a mess. While this product is not for me and falls short in terms of consistency and scent intensity, it still offers some benefits for those seeking hydration and nourishment for their skin. I can see this working better for people with very dry skin. If you don't mind a thicker formula and prefer a subtle fragrance, this body oil may be worth a try.

I'm just a beauty loving gal that enjoys a little sparkle during the long summer days. Using the Hempz Glow Getter Body Oil made me feel like a bronzed goddess in her element! The scent didn't have too much of a vanilla smell, but instead seemed tropical to me. I didn't mind, that made it even more perfect in my opinion. The oil comes out thick and spreads out beautifully over the skin with no residue. I was left with soft, supple skin covered in a gorgeous shimmer that made me absolutely radiant! And I'm happy to report that this product goes the distance, I felt the effects hours later despite being in the elements. The shimmer is subtle so if you're not a glitter person, this product is still perfect for you. I'm looking forward to laying on the beach covered in this.

I love body oils so when I heard that there was a new body oil in town with shimmer I was eager to try it! I was super excited to try Hempz Glow Getter Herbal Body Oil with Subtle Shimmer as I thought it would be my new favorite thing but that quickly turned into disappointment when I squirted the product into my hand to apply. It has a very thick consistency to it which made it hard to spread and wasn't enjoyable either as I like a bit of flow in my oils. Also, the smell wasn't great, it did not smell like bergamot and vanilla as promised. It also left me feeling greasy and gross as oils are supposed to absorb into the skin, even after waiting a good half an hour, the product still didn't absorb into my skin. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations and it's not something I would recommend

This product is perfect for dry skin that needs just a little extra hydration! Living in cold weather, I am always on the lookout for quality hydrating products that also are not too slick/oily. Sometimes after I shower I'll use a thicker moisturizer/body oil like this so that my skin can heal from the day of dry weather. That is exactly how I used this product and it worked great. It felt nice a smooth without being too oily and it absorbed into my skin well. The scent was nice and warm and the extra shimmer made me feel pampered. I will say, a little bit of this product goes a long way and I don't think I would use this everyday after a shower, but once in a while when I feel like my skin needs an extra boost of hydration after a long day I would definitely use this.

I was so excited to get to try this Hempz Glow Getter Herbal Body Oil with Shimmer!! It literally is so amazing!! I absolutely love it!! First of all, it smells heavenly and it looks gorgeous on my skin! The way that I use this Hempz body oil is I layer it with the other products in the Hempz Glow Getter product line. I use the Hempz Glow Getter Body lotion first, then on top of that I use this Body Oil and then I finish it off with the Hempz Glow Getter Herbal Body Mist! It looks so gorgeous all layered on top of each other and the shimmer and bronzed look is just out of this world! The Body Oil is rich but it goes on so smoothly. I love it especially because there's no greasy feel to it which a lot of other similar products have. I definitely recommend trying this product
