I use body oils on a regular basis, the Hempz Glow Getter Herbal Body Oil with Subtle Shimmer is such a fun way to change things up and add some extra flair to my routine. This body oil comes in a fairly large bottle with plenty to use. The formula glides across the skin and sits up top the skin to provide a deep moisture. I really like that this product uses ethically sourced mica. The glitter provides a shimmering touch of large flecks of glitter and a slight metallic effect as well. The smell of Vanilla and Bergamot is warm and refreshing. I particularly liked using it after a shower to lock in moisturizer- it also works beautifully with the matching Hempz moisturizer. I would definitely recommend this body oil to anyone looking to add a touch of shimmer to their body routine.

I tried the entire Hempz Glow Getter line so you don't have to! I'm a sucker for anything that promises to make my skin look like it's been kissed by the sun, so I was super excited to give this product a try. The shimmer is absolutely stunning, it's definitely the strongest shimmer out of all of the Glow Getter products. Just a few drops of this oil and suddenly your skin is bathed in an ethereal glow that's sure to turn heads wherever you go. But here's where things start to get a little tricky. The texture of this oil is not for everyone. It's thick. Like, really thick. And insanely oily. Don't get me wrong I'm all for a luxurious, nourishing oil, but this stuff just refuses to soak into your skin. It sits on the top layer and won't go away no matter how much you try to rub it in. If you're someone like me with sensory problems, this can be an absolute nightmare. The feeling of thick, oily residue sitting on your skin is enough to send shivers down your spine. I've tried all the tricks in the book to make it work. I've applied it right after a shower, when my skin is still damp. I've tried mixing it with other lotions to thin it out. I've even attempted to warm it up between my hands before applying it. But no matter what I do, it just sits there. On one hand, you have this absolutely stunning shimmer that makes your skin look like it's been blessed by the skincare gods. But on the other hand you have this thick, oily texture that refuses to budge, leaving you feeling like you've coated yourself in a layer of grease. In the end, I think it really comes down to personal preference. If you don't mind the feeling of heavy oils on your skin and you're willing to put up with a little extra effort to make it work, then by all means, give Hempz Glow Getter Herbal Body Oil a shot. But if you're like me and you just can't deal with that kind of sensory overload, you might want to steer clear.

I've tried a lot of different body oils and honestly, it left me not being a big huge fan of them, for the simple fact that they left my skin feeling sticky/greasy and oily but ohemgeeesss, this Hempz body oil, is literally everything I've been looking for in a body oil, left me obsessed with it and using it everyday now . My skin feels and looks so incredibly amazing after applying it on, so hydrated/moisturized and glowy with that pretty rose gold shimmer affect without feeling extremely sticky/greasy and oily . I'm definitely going to be using this body oil in the summer, it'll go perfect with using a sunscreen with SPF, tanning lotion with this over it all = one smexay glow 🌟✨🌟
