Mason has a run for their money
I own the Junior mason Pierson brush and I am in love with it but it's a little scratchy for my scalp…. So I found this boar bristle brush and decided to try it out and it is comparable to the mason Pierson brush. It produces such similar glossy soft results, perhaps only a true professional hairstylist could tell the visual difference of which side was brushed with which brush. I prefer this brush to my mason Pierson. But the mason Pierson brush does have a slightly finer less detectable brush effect than this one, but this one doesn't hurt my scalp. I also like that this is made from wood… you'd think the MP brush would have wood but it's plastic, very disappointing. Will be buying more Wigo brushes in the future as long as the quality either stays the same or improves, in other words don't mess with something that is already great! I reach for this brush more than my MP brush.

I bought this on a whim and I'm amazed at how much better it is than any other brushes I've ever owned. I have half and half grey hair dyed back to its original dark blonde and it tends to alternate between limp and frizzy with no middle ground. This brush changed all that. It leaves my hair shiny. It doesn't mat my hair down. It leaves my hair with body yet it leaves it smooth rather than frizzy. I bought the last one on the shelf, but if they get more, I'll buy some as gifts.
