Great until to try to wash it
Initially the brush was great for calming frizz and to help distribute natural oils from my scalp to the rest of my hair. Great until to try to wash it
Initially the brush was great for calming frizz and to help distribute natural oils from my scalp to the rest of my hair. After a few months, the brush accumulated some oil buildup from my hair, so I washed it with some gentle soap as per numerous online recommendations for jow to clean bristle brushes. Ever since then, the bristles have been scratchy and irritate my scalp, making it nearly impossible to use (and I do not have a typcially sensitive scalp). Would not recommend.
Great brush for thin hair not thick
This is a good brush but if you have thicker hair it is rough on it. I really like the combination of boost and nylon bristles but my medium thickness hair has taken a beating on the ends. Strong, good quality material especially for the price. If you have long slightly thicker hair - mine is waist length- it can be tough to get the bristles all the way through.

As someone who avoids boar bristles because they seemed too harsh, I loved the wood, the feel, and details but unfortunately this thing weighed like a small mallet. It's within reason but felt like somewhat of a task.
