Pretty nails but not long lasting

Overall I sort of liked the nails but did not LOVE them. They are incredibly pretty as they're a neutral magnetic/iridescent color, so they're a great color for those that don't want a bright color or super magnetic shift but want that slight touch. I like having my nails look "extra" but I also lik...e simplicity, like this nail design. The design is, in my opinion, sadly the only really good thing about these nails. The shape was nice if you're into very short squoval nail shapes. For me they were a bit too wide & too square, but still looked generally nice on me. I thought I would like the length more as I prefer a short to medium nail length for press ons, but I was bummed that they were TOO SHORT. I think they should be labeled "extra short" on the box. I believe my nail beds are considered short but surprisingly my nail beds were longer than some of these nails that on some I had to give myself a gap between my cuticle & the bottom of the nail (as if I painted my nails & used a thin brush to remove excess polish to give myself a cleaner looking nail) just to keep the tip of my extremely filed down nails from showing. The sizing had pros & cons. There were plenty of bigger sizes if a customer has very big/wide thumbs, & included extras for two sizes that might be for those who have nails that are the same size on multiple fingers (maybe index & ring finger sizes, common to be the same size), but lacked very small sizes. The smallest was a 12 & i have very small pinky nails. The 12s fit me ok but still were a little wide than i would prefer. Yes, I could file them to fit me better but I've used other press on nail brands, including sets from Kiss, that included smaller sizes. If they could include extra wide nails in the kit to accommodate a wider finger then what about those with very small nails? With this set, I felt I struggled trying to find what fit my nails in length & in width - some would be too wide but fit my nail length so my now filed natural nail tip didn't show, & some fit the width of my nail (side wall to side wall), but were so short, leading me to pick a different size that I'd alter to fit me. While altering nails are not a dealbreaker, as everyone is not going to have a perfect fit with mass produced press on nails, the main unfortunate issue was that i could not get them to last even a week as they kept popping off. I initially used a different nail glue than the one included as I've used it before for fake nails but within a day a couple popped off. So I used the glue included which sort of worked, but I'd have to keep regluing what would pop off, even ones when I did use the included glue. Maybe its user error from the get go. Maybe I had too much glue build up from the first glue used that, no matter what, they were never going to stick well again. Or maybe its the nail not fitting me well or just the nail not wanting to stay glue on no matter what glue was used. Eventually less than week in I had to remove them before I could truly test their up to 14 day wear because they were already showing that they could not last 2 days without consistently needing to be glued back on. Maybe if the color was offered in a longer length & almond shape, I'd give these a shot again. Hopefully this was a one time issue & other nails in this Kiss line are really good.
